The Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) New Voices initiative seeks to engage metro Atlanta’s diverse communities to help us plan for the region’s future. With these new voices, we hope to find innovative approaches for engaging people and promoting meaningful conversation on important issues facing the Atlanta region.

New Voices began in 2014 by engaging the region’s fast-growing Millennial population in a Millennial Advisory Panel. Members of that group provided ARC with valuable input on a range of key regional issues, from transportation to education. The feedback helped inform ARC’s long-range blueprint for the region, the Atlanta Region’s Plan.

In 2017, ARC formed a Global Advisory Panel to reach out to the region’s international community. Global Advisory Panel members will meet and work together throughout 2017.
